DIRECTOR OF INNOVATION - Prepared Foods

Director of Innovation - Prepared Foods
Responsible for leading product design strategy across our Prepared Foods business Unit. This individual will connect deeply with customers to identify gaps in the market and translate insights to create new product platforms and improve current Prepared Foods product mix. This position will drive prioritization within new and existing customers, identify technical needs, partner internally and externally to create clear platform road maps to drive sales growth expectations. This technical leadership role requires a strong blend of business acumen, understanding of consumer insights and research, talent development & management, project management skills, product design vision, financial savvy, effective communication skills, and understanding and application of innovation processes.
Responsibilities
Develop product market implementation plans for all innovation work streams in Prepared Foods
Prepare initiatives for successful deployment (e.g., adapt solutions to markets, identify support limitations, etc.) in all Prepared Foods customers and markets.
Work with R+D and Operations to create detailed implementation plans and resource requirements
Work with marketing/sales to identify marketing personnel to own implementation of innovation initiatives for each customer
Identify market specific risks during innovation solution development
Identify potential operational support / service limitations and contingencies for all solutions (e.g., gaps in delivery and contingencies during down time)
Develop training to drive team member knowledge for food safety compliance and production efficiency
Develop comprehensive change management and communications plan
Manage demonstration of innovation workstreams
Work collaboratively with internal and external team members and stakeholders to drive work forward
Improve PPF operations by playing a critical role in the execution of the Innovation workstream projects
Partner with functional leadership to drive strategic direction and requirements, developing effective working relationships, cross-functional management processes and communications as it relates to Innovation workstreams
Identify issues/risks to key initiatives and escalate critical issues to leadership: PPF VP, Operations Group with recommendations and/or solutions
Create visibility of progress through regular tracking and assess performance of all workstreams
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors of Science Degree; MBA preferred
5-10 years of experience in food manufacturing operation roles with increasing level of responsibilities
Department leadership a plus
Poultry experience a plus
Proven track record implementing large system wide initiatives
Expertise in manufacturing operations ?emphasis on customer, production management and efficiency systems
Must be able to travel as needed.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
