Minimum Qualifications 1.) Prefer BA in Marketing or related field or 3 years sales/marketing experience in health related field 2.) Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health. Has presented a premployment health clearance 10.) Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and or organization requirements and is in good working order 11.) Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision 12.) Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations 13.) Complies with accepted professional standards and practice 14.) Summary of Job Responsibilities The Sales Director is responsible for the overall direction of marketing/community education services in a specified geographic region. The Sales Director establishes implements and evaluates goals and objectives for home care marketing/community education services, which meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the continuous quality improvement of the Agency.
Responsibilities and Duties 1.) Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect marketing/community education services provided by Admission Coordinators and Regional Admission Coordinators in their region. 2.) In collaboration with the Regional Admissions Coordinator ensures the local Admission Coordinator is trained and oriented. Communicates, as appropriate, with staff, physicians, referral sources, and clients. Provides guidance and counseling to Branch Supervisors to assist them in continually improving all aspects of marketing/ community education services, provided through agency personnel. 3.) Assists Regional AC and Admissions Coordinators in managing marketing/community education services and planning. 4.) With Director of Professional and Clinical Services, develops and implements community relations program for the Agency. Assists the Director of Professional and Clinical Services, Regional Admissions Coordinators, and local Admissions Coordinators in the preparation and administration of the agency's annual budget for marketing/community education. Participates in short and long range planning for the branch and implements specific measures for the regional growth. 5.) Assists Director of Professional and Clinical Services and Sales and Marketing Program Director in interpreting operational indicators to detect census changes and increases or decreases in volume, which could impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenses. 6.) Performance appraisal of direct subordinates is completed according to agency policies and procedures, assisting subordinates with professional growth and development. 7.) Ensures the orientation and on going education of direct subordinates is adequate to appropriately carry out their assigned job responsibilities. 8.) Recommends to the Director of Professional and Clinical Services and Sales and Marketing Program Director in-service and continuing education programs to meet education and training needs or agency marketing/community education personnel. Provides adequate opportunity for education and assures that all staff meets training and in-service requirements. 9.) Assists with the evaluation of Agency performance via performance improvement program, productivity, quarterly and annual reviews. Ensures the quality of marketing/community education services provided through the Agency. 10.) Ensures compliance of their region with all local, state, and fderal laws regarding licensure and certification. 11.) Stays informed about changes in the field of marketing/community education and home health care; shares information with appropriate agency personnel. 12.) Promotes home health referrals in the health care community. Works with other agencies and promotes good community relations by involvment in community events. 13.) Demonstrates understanding of the Agency's mission, vision, philosophy, and standards of care. 14.) Cultivates relationships with physician office staff in all geographic service areas. 15.) Attends agency meetings as directed. 16.) Reports Marketing/Community Education activities on a regular basis to supervisor as requested. Continuing Education Requirements Agency personnel are expected to participate in appropriate continuing education as may be requested and/or required by their immediate supervisor and /or state laws/ In addition, agency personnel are expected to accept personal responsibility for other educational activities to enhance job related skills and abilities. All personnel must attend mandatory educational programs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
